New billing method and more services included

As soon as the new service agreement is signed, you will immediately start enjoying all the benefits of the new service package, including medical examinations and legal assistance. AST will also begin billing your company a monthly fee for the service. You will no longer pay a yearly percentage of the savings you earned as a member of a prevention mutual group.

What does it mean for you? The same excellent level of service and more!

  • You need to renew your service agreement with AST before September 1, 2010 to retain the same excellent service and remain a member of a prevention mutual group, all for an easy to budget monthly fee.
  • As part of the new agreement, your package will be enriched to include two new, high value services, medical examination and legal assistance, to help you manage CSST files with more speed and ease, while saving time and money.
  • Because you will be paying a monthly rate for your AST services, you will retain the full savings earned thanks to the performance of your prevention mutual group.

On January 2011, the CSST will require employers to pay their assessments to the minist??re du Revenu du Qu??bec on an accelerated basis, along with other governmental remittances. In addition, the premiums you pay will be based on actual payroll for the period instead of an annual estimate.

As your fees were previously calculated based on the annual estimate, AST needs to adjust and change its billing model to better align with the CSST. We hope you will enjoy the convenience of the fixed, easy to budget monthly fee that will be replacing the yearly percentage of PMG savings billing formula.
