Preparing for the CSST Changes
Please follow these easy steps to renew your AST service agreement and prepare for the new CSST payment frequency.
- Signing the new AST service agreement :
- Sign and return the new service agreement that was sent to you by mail.
- Call your AST service representative at 1-888-974-1522 for assistance or to obtain a copy of your new service agreement if you did not receive it by mail.
- As soon as you sign the new agreement, you have access to the new AST prevention mutual group package, including the new services.
- To learn more about the changes relating specifically to CSST regulations, please visit the CSST website at www.csst.qc.ca or call AST for further guidance or advice.
Timeline
- You will receive by mail an upgraded AST service agreement which will also allow you to confirm your membership to a prevention mutual group. You may at any time call your AST service representative at 1-888-974-1522 to obtain a copy of your new agreement or any other information.
- On the date you sign your new AST service agreement:
- You remain part of the same prevention mutual group and keep enjoying the same level of service and performance you have always received from AST.
- You will start being billed a low, easy to budget monthly fee for services, but will retain the full savings associated to the prevention mutual group.
- You will begin having access to medical and legal services, at no extra fee, as described in the new AST service agreement.
- No later than September 1, 2010, you need to renew your service agreement with AST, so that we can meet the deadline for submitting prevention mutual group files to the CSST.
- January 1, 2011: you could be paying your CSST remittance fees at the same frequency as other governmental remittances.
